Malaysian in Russia: people don't speak much in streets

Yesterday I hung out with a couchsurfer Ying. She is a Malaysian girl who teaches English on a cruise ship so she moves from spot to spot all the time and has visited a bunch of interesting tourist places like Caribbean, Mauritius, Mediterranean and so on. She arrived in St. Petersburg for several hours.
